I will use the idea of having an opening sentence below the Title of my model just like the editors do on Rhianna's double page spread. I think this will attract readers straight away and make my model look and sound a lot more interesting.
I will use the idea of cutting out my model so that she does not have a back ground to her like Taylor Swift, i will do this by using "define edges" in "In Design"
I am going to use the idea of my model with other people in her pictures so that she does not look like she has just posed for the interview and so that the double page spread its self does not look too empty.
I am definitly going to use the idea of having certain things my model has said qouted in larger fonts and texts.
I like the idea of having a specific and main qoute under the Title and name of the model, this will show the start of the double page spread.

double page spread

Here are some of the double page spreads i have been researching, i like the idea of having many different pictures of the model with other people, I will be following this and the part in each interview where the interviewer asks the questions and the model answers them

I find the picture of Taylor Swift cut out interesting and eye catching, i would like to do this with my model.

I took into consideration what my critics said about my front cover and contents page and changed a couple of things, i feel this improved my magazine as a whole.

On my front cover I made the bar code smaller and the strap line at the bottom longer and moved the text into the middle of the strap line. Where as originally the bar code was a lot bigger and looked too stretched and the strap like looked very small.

On my contents page I made the little picture shown to be the models album brighter so that the viewers could see it better and made the text of the title black rather then white so it stood out more. Originally the album was a lot darker with white text across it.

This is now what my front cover and contents page look like.

Feed back
For both my front cover and my contents page, three people gave me feed back, they told me what they liked about my work and what they thought could be improved.

The first person
Good number of cover lines
Good picture of model
Change the position of bar code on front cover, too big.
Could order the page numbers in the contents page.
Good contents page, small picture could be brightened?
Good house style.

The second person
Beautiful font for title on front page.
Good contrast between font "hot or not" and "Lacey une" on front cover.
Shadow under her hand could be removed?
Choice of font-good.
Content on contents page relevant.

The third person
I really like the font for the title because it looks different to others and it suits how the model is dressed up. the colours also match really well and everything looks good.
I like the boxes on the contents because it makes it look neat and all the different fonts make it look really interesting.
I think the font for "Contents" looks too much because so far its all neat.
The content of the contents page is good.

I will take some of this information into consideration and add changes to my front cover and contents page.

Here are some contents pages that i use as an influence. i researched pop contents pages into google.

For the first contents page i took the idea of having a black rectangle to put the page references in. i thought this would make the page numbers and sub-headings stand out of the page and catch the readers attention.
On the second contents page i took the idea of the black and white picture, knowing i was doing a black and white house style of colours i thought a black and white picture as well would fit in with my contents page.

contents page

Here is a plan of my contents page, when i start designing my contents i will try to follow this as much as possible.
